Printing principle of Tin Box:

Tin plate printing has special requirements for ink:
(1) The ink is required to have good adhesion and mechanical properties
Because Metal Box prints will eventually be made into food Iron Boxes, toys, metal picture frames and barrels and cans for chemical products, which need to be cut, bent and stretched, it is required that printing ink has good adhesion and corresponding mechanical properties to Tinplate. In order to improve the ink adhesion, the tinplate needs white paint treatment before printing. White is the basic color of all pictures, with high brightness. After adding other high-energy colors, the brightness of each color can be increased to form a color scale.
(2) Requirements for white ink
The surface of the sheet is silver white (or yellow) with metallic luster. Before printing color graphics, the surface needs to be painted or printed white. Due to the limitation of coverage capacity, monochrome machines often need to print white twice, and the whiteness can reach 75%. The whiteness is an important indicator of the quality of tinplate printing products. White ink is required to have a good adhesion with the primer. Repeated baking at high temperature will not yellowing, and high temperature steaming will not fade. It is required to base the sheet, increase the adhesion to the sheet, and have a good adhesion to white ink. The commonly used primer is epoxy amine, with light color, no yellowing, and repeated baking will not age. It has good flexibility and impact resistance.
(3) Requirements for color ink
In addition to certain water resistance, the color ink used for sheet printing must have special requirements. Since the surface of the sheet is impervious to water and solvent and needs to be baked and dried, the ink should be heat cured. For the high requirements of pigment tinting power and durability, the iron printing ink should not only have the basic performance of general offset printing ink, but also have the characteristics of heat resistance, strong ink film adhesion, impact resistance, hardness, cooking resistance, light resistance, etc. according to the characteristics of iron printing.
